Bringing out the pink hard hat again... news from Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region
As many of you are aware we are big supporters of this important community service. Tracey has served on the Board of Directors for a number of years and is currently the Chairperson. The organization offers a variety of services to help woman and their children move beyond violence. They operate two shelters; Anselma House in Kitchener and Haven House in Cambridge plus regional outreach services for abused women and their children.
Recently Mary Zilney, the CEO, sent out a letter to supporters with some important news. This post is adapted from that letter.
"Back in early 2011, it was thought that the existing Haven House property would be appropriate for further expansion. Subsequently, a decision was made to proceed with a capital campaign to expand and renovate Haven House. This information was disseminated back in June."

Tracey was pleased when asked to assist this young couple to buy their first home. Ryan's wife is the daughter of one Tracey's friends. Tracey takes special care to do a good job when her client's have been referred to her by friends or past clients! Ryan and his wife (and the family cat) found a great little home in Kitchener that fit their needs and was comfortably within their budget. They are happy first time home owners. Ryan sent these comments:
"Tracey is great at listening to her clients and working to get them what they want. She has remained helpful to us even a year after we hired her." - Ryan K.

A Smooth Relocation...

When Thomas and his wife put their house in New York State up for sale, their Realtor recommended that they should contact Tracey Appleton to find a home in Waterloo.
Initially the couple moved into temporary accomodations in Waterloo provided by his new employer. While living in this temporary home they began looking at the Waterloo real estate market with Tracey. After an extensive search they found the perfect home in a neighbourhood near his office. Commuting won't be a problem for Thomas... They offered this recommendation for Tracey:
"It is hard to say much more than what has already been said about Tracey. All the excellent recommendations and comments are true!
In the fall of 2010, my wife and I moved from the US to KW. As you can imagine, moving is stressful. Moving to a new country is even more stressful. Tracey made our relocation very easy.
Tracey has excellent communication skills and follow through. She is dependable, personable and I always know she had our best interests in mind.
Her patience was remarkable. I think we looked at every property and twice told her we were ready to put an offer on a home and then changed our minds. This didn't bother her a bit.
I highly recommend Tracey Appleton!"

Buying or Selling, We are Happy to Assist...

Dennis and his wife moved to the Kitchener-Waterloo area from the Yukon Territory. One of Dennis' office-mates suggested that they should ask her realtor, Tracey Appleton, to assist them with a house purchase. Dennis and his wife settled in a comfotable home north of Waterloo.
Eventually the "call of the north" lured this couple back to the Yukon. At that time Tracey assisted this family to sell their home. Dennis offered the following recommendation:
"I have used Tracey's services twice, she is the hardest working agent in Waterloo Region.
I would recommend Tracey to anyone who is serious about buying or selling a home."
Dennis B.

The Perfect Executive Condominium Townhouse...

When Rick received a job offer at a local company, he asked one of his new co-workers to suggest a Realtor in Waterloo. That friend suggested Tracey Appleton to him. Before long they were out looking at homes... before too long Rick and his wife Jo had moved into a beautiful executive townhouse in Waterloo. They were happy to give Tracey this reccomendation:
"Tracey was very pleasurable and patient to work with. I found her to be very intuitive as to what we were looking for in finding a home. She was very professional, always on time, did not pressure us and was very personable throughout the entire process.
I would highly recommend Tracey."
Rick S.

Is this a good time to buy a home in Kitchener Waterloo?
From my perspective, the answer is a resounding YES!
So far, 2010 has been a year of brisk sales activity in KW. However, the year has taken a slightly different shape compared with many years.
Typically, our real estate market follows a pattern in which the spring is very active as people list and buy in order to make their actual move during the summer. Then, July and August are a little quieter as folks turn their attention to summer holidays and activities. After labour day weekend, we usually experience another peak in activity that I call the "mini spring in the fall". After November, things quiet down again as many folks don't actively chose the winter months for buying nor for selling.
