Waterloo Region homes more affordable

Updated Tue. Sep. 22 2009 7:07 PM ET - The president of Coldwell Banker says Waterloo Region homes are more affordable compared to major cities across the country.

A two and half story, four bedroom home would cost about $350,000 in Kitchener and $400,000 in Waterloo.

The same home would go for $1.2 million in Vancouver or $800,000 in Toronto.
In August, The Kitchener-Waterloo Real Estate Board saw the average home price drop by about 4%, compared to the same month last year.
