The Laurel Creek Citizens’ Working Group will facilitate a hands-on educational activity at the Earth Day event. Aquatic “critters”, collected from a nearby stream, will be on display for participants to investigate the variety of creatures that live in Laurel Creek. Participants also have the chance to play an aquatic identification game, and learn about different aquatic insects and their indicators of stream health.
