WATERLOO - The condo market in Toronto may be slowing to a halt, but in Waterloo Region the boom continues -- at least for now.
The latest plan for a luxury development, 45 Degrees on King, is a 17-floor, 93-unit building slated for King and Columbia streets in Waterloo.
Construction is to start in May, for completion in September 2010, said Michael Huber, sales and marketing manager for Kingsley Developments of Kitchener.
Thirty per cent of the units have been sold so far, Huber said. He expects they will sell out.
"We are in a little bit of a bubble here,'' said Huber.
