According to this recent press release from the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR) the number of homes sold to buyers by area Realtors in the local area have increased in April.

KITCHENER-WATERLOO, ON (May 3, 2012) --   Residential real estate sales through the Multiple Listing System (MLS® System) of the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR), were up over last year for the second consecutive month.

OTTAWA - April 16, 2012 - According to statistics* released by The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), national resale housing activity edged higher in March 2012.

Highlights:

• Home sales rose 2.5% from February to March.
• Actual (not seasonally adjusted) activity stood 1.6% above levels in March 2011, the smallest year-over-year increase since last April.
• The number of newly listed homes eased 0.3% from February to March.
• While still well balanced, the national housing market tightened due to the rise in activity.
• The national average home price edged down 0.5% on a year-over-year basis in March.

Kitchener-Waterloo Home Sales Strong In March

Kitchener-Waterloo, ON (April 4, 2012) --   Residential property sales through the Multiple Listing System (MLS® System) of the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR), increased 8 percent in March compared to last year. There were 660 residential sales last month, 32.8 percent more than in February.

The Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS (KWAR) has published their most recent press release. Although the number of MLS listings sold has decreased, the average sale price and median price for real estate have continued to rise.

Kitchener-Waterloo Home Sales Steady In February

KITCHENER-WATERLOO, ON (March 5, 2012) - There were 487 homes sold last month through the Multiple Listing Service (MLS®) of the  Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR), a 2.2 percent decrease compared to last year, but still a better than average February.

KITCHENER-WATERLOO, ON (February 3, 2012) -- Sales of residential properties by REALTORS® through the Multiple Listing System (MLS®) of the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® (KWAR) were down 7.8 percent compared to last year, but in line with the 10 year average for January.

Condominium Sales Remain Strong In K-W

Kitchener-Waterloo, ON (Oct 5th, 2011) - Residential sales to the end of the third quarter of 2011 are behind last year by 2.9 percent. A total of 4,975 homes have sold to date this year through the Multiple Listing Service (MLS®) of the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS®, compared with 5,126 during the same period last year.
